The Beast
(1988)
This movie takes place in 1981 during the war between Russia and Afghanistan.
It tells the story of a Russian tank lost behind enemy lines and
a
group of Afghan soldiers out to destroy it. George Dzundza is the ruthless,
paranoid Russian commander; Jason Patric is the Russian soldier torn between
his country and his conscience, and STEVEN BAUER is the leader
of the Afghanis.
